Quick Question For Ya
Happy Sunday, y’all! This week I’m trying something new.
The theme of liminal spaces — AKA transition periods in our lives — came up quite a bit over the past few days across podcasts I listened to, books I’m reading, and conversations I’ve had. Author and theologian Richard Rohr describes liminal spaces as such:
“Where we are between the familiar and the completely unknown...That’s a good space where genuine newness can begin...This is the sacred space where the old world is able to fall apart, and a bigger world is revealed. If we don’t encounter liminal space in our lives, we start idealizing normalcy...Here we are taught openness and patience.”
My thoughts on this: sure Rich, but transitions are hard AF. These liminal spaces sound fun until you’re in them.
With that, I want to know how you think about transitions. I’d like to ask you 2 questions. With your permission, your responses will be featured in a future post, anonymously or otherwise based on your preference.
I want you to think about periods of transitions in your life. Let’s take the time you were graduating college...

Thank you in advance for the laughs and tears that are sure to follow as I go through your answers.
