Excellent point about house money. I think regarding giving ourselves some house money, it’s also a cultural perspective. Most Indians (I am also one by birth) are or were brought up with the mindset of chasing high paying professions and it’s only after some years of adulthood and being in the outside world do we gain this perspective to find wonder and freedom of thought. Hope next-gen Indians can find it sooner due to our awakening!
Yes! Agreed - so much of our collective experience has been centered in finding security (which comes at the cost of wonder). As we move further from this need-based style of living, we can make more space for exploration
